Brian Hayes

Brian S. Hayes is the President of Extended Thinking, an e-Business and XML consulting business. He is also a lecturer at the School of Information Management and Systems at the University of California, Berkeley. He led the UN/CEFACT ebXML Business Process Specification Schema project team and was one of the four ebXML Technical Architects. He was also a member of the OASIS ebXML Collaboration Protocol Profile and Agreement technical committee, the ebXML Joint Technical Liaison Team, and contributed the development of various UN/CEFACT specifications. Prior to working for Extended Thinking and University of California, he worked at Commerce One where he provided architectural direction for e-business applications and infrastructure. He has also been a consulting architect and analyst for financial applications at Charles Schwab, Bank America, and Wells Fargo Bank.
